I have made an drowned farm using a zombie spawner and i was afking for about an hour with a looting III netherite sowrd and i didnt get a single trident so i am not really sure if the bug is with the drowned deops or with the looting III sword.

However, this issue is Working as Intended.
The report you have submitted is working as intended: Drowned no longer drop tridents if they aren't equipped with them, see MCPE-32731. Drowned also aren't supposed to get equipped with tridents when being converted from a zombie, see MC-129579.
Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.

I don't play Pocket Edition although to my knowledge, Drowned spawned from a zombie that was turned into a Drowned cannot drop Tridents. the only way to get Tridents is from killing naturally spawned Drowned. I would recommend searching an official Drowned Farm for PE as I'm pretty sure they exist as I've heard of them in Java/Bedrock.
