It actually is a block... "invisible bedrock."
Please report only one issue per ticket. The "end of world" stuff can all go in one ticket. The rest of the issues you reported here are probably not bugs... gravel and sand don't fall in MCPE by design; one craft torch for coal, one for charcoal. Not sure what you mean by "Torches on down mode when placed next to fence." The trapdoor shadow thing would probably be more of an improvement than a bug fix... I don't think any other blocks can change the amount of light they let through.
