When you send a redstone signal through the target block, it doesn't send a redstone signal through the target block.
In java edition, if you send a redstone signal through the target block, it does send a redstone signal through the target block.
Example, in java edition, if you send a redstone signal through the target block which has a piston on top of it, the piston will be powered.
In bedrock edition, if you do the same thing as I said for the java example, the piston won't be powered.
Reproduce, put a piston or a redstone torch or a repeater on the target block (put repeater next to target block), then send a redstone signal through the target block.
