As you can see with the clips, sprinting does deal more horizontal knockback as it should. That’s all well and good, right? Well, the problem is it, for some reason, does less vertical knockback than hitting an entity without sprinting. As a result of vertical knockback not being properly applied while sprinting, it feels like you’re dealing less knockback while sprinting, when you’re supposed to be dealing more.

actually sprinting knockback is applied in the x-z axis, but it lacks the y component. It should be a very simple fix here.
Note: Sprint knockback is properly applied to mobs in the latest hotfix. This is only an issue in the latest beta. To reproduce this issue, hit a mob while sprinting.
