Traded with a librarian villager (I traded paper and books) really fast and realized there was an emerald on the ground as if the villager "dropped " it. Villager was surrounded by blocks only on the top half of the villager. I was standing one block lower them he was (looking straight ahead at his feet)

That is a possibility but I don't think it was full. I remember that I saw it laying on the ground after trading and went right to it to pick it up. I will try to recreate it and find out.
