Every time I craft an item, since this afternoon, it has fallen to the floor/ground, instead of appearing in my inventory. With the exception of cake: that just disappears and is replaced with the empty buckets I had the milk in. I've only encountered this issue in survival mode, since I don't craft in creative. Additionally, and this might be unrelated, I can't switch between items when in creative mode, unless I drop the first item from my inventory then swipe repeatedly on the one I'm trying to use.

The exact same thing has has been happening with me too, I've been trying to make cakes for 2 hours now, and every time it ends the same. 3 buckets, depleted eggs, wheat, and sugar, no cake.

This started to happen in my freinds realm, but with him trying to copy a book he wrote, it wouldn't copy the book and it just dropped the original book none of the books with quils, then i tried crafting a diamond pick and it flashed in my hotbar then it dropped

If you experience dropping items from the crafting table or other inventory problems after attempting to craft honey, relogging should fix that.

I've had the same problem with crafting in survival a couple of times. The materials used to make the cake disappear. The cake flashes in my inventory once, then disappears too, replaced by 3 empty buckets. I've only experienced this in pocket edition.
