When I Make A Honey Block It give me bottles and no honey block.
Workaround
You should be able to craft honey blocks successfully in survival mode if you keep at least one empty bottle (but not a full stack) in the first available spot in your hotbar when crafting honey blocks. See also this comment.
If you experience dropping items from the crafting table or other inventory problems after attempting to craft honey, relogging should fix that.

Someone posted a video of this on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/MCPE/comments/f4zmir/cant_craft_honey_blocks_tried_multiple_times/

Looks like it's related to MCPE-58579 and MCPE-63228.

Um those bugs are making cake and loss of bottles jira

@Ayub Guled whether you lose the cake or the buckets, and whether you lose the bottles or the honey block, seems to depend on whether you are in creative or survival mode. Look at my comments on MCPE-58579 and MCPE-63228 from yesterday.

I am on iOS and this happens to me as well.

I am on iPadOS and this happens to me a lot on my Realm. The honey blocks disappear as soon as I craft one and it gives back empty glass bottles. My Minecraft version and OS are up to date.

I can confirm this bug on android.

This happened to me today on a new Realm. I attempted to craft a honey block, from four full bottles of honey, and only received the empty bottles, NO honey block. I am using iOS, on an iPad. I am not the host of the Realm.

You should be able to avoid losing the honey if you keep an empty bottle in your first available hotbar/inventory spot while crafting, like this:

However, this will not work if you have already tried to craft honey unsuccessfully, because the bug glitches your inventory. You can tell that your inventory is glitched if crafting causes you to throw things on the ground. You can reset your inventory by relogging, or you can recover subsequent crafted honey blocks by moving another item to the output spot, like this:

This is also occurring with cakes. It just leaves 3 empty milk buckets and the other ingredients disappear.

The same happens to me. When I create a block of honey it disappears and does not reach my inventory.

I have noticed that when I drag the honey block from the crafting grid into my inventory, this bug doesn't happen. When I Shift + click it, I experience the bug a lot, but not consistently.

Happens to me alot in our realm. Its very annoying.

Id really like to see this get fixed soon, i made 2 honey blocks, both disappeared, tried the 2 ways of recovery and relogging and only got 1 back....

Yes its very annoying. It mostly happens to me in my realm. Plz fix. I like honey

Note that this isn't just for honey blocks, if you have any add-ons that contain items that give double results, the same bug will occur

I just wanted to comment here. My post was marked as a duplicate, but I wanted to write to add history that this issue still exists. I was planning on making a large honey + sticky piston train to move bases in my survival realm. Looks like I need to find some slime in the meantime.

The issue has been marked as resolved if you have 1+ bottles, but I had two bottles and received no honey, and my bottles were dropped.

@unknown I watched your video, and I think you have not understood the workaround. The first hotbar slot is on the left. Put your empty bottles where you have the wheat seeds, then craft.

Simplest workaround is to drag the honey from the crafting grid instead of shift + clicking (or L2 + A or whatever your controller settings are). This never happens when you manually drag the honey.

Experiencing the same issue when I try to craft honey blocks, they simply disappear wasting all my honey.
