they’re working fine, your chunks must have already been loaded- create a new world, but remember they are rare.
this is happening for every item- it’s so ugly!
it’s not just level 2- see my video “fullsizerender.mov”
just added a video- i received xp (as seen by my mending pickaxe), but i did not actually level up the villager in any way. this is frustrating to be honest. (also please ignore my villager setup- i’m working on it XD)
i had this same issue, and i’m so close to becoming a master on a really good librarian.

The issue has been marked as resolved if you have 1+ bottles, but I had two bottles and received no honey, and my bottles were dropped.
Brady Fetting, the devs work their hardest, cut them some slack! you have to remember that they did a great job unloading so many features so quickly across multiple platforms, especially since minecraft is such a complicated game. after all, this is why there is a place to report bugs. thanks devs for making this update possible!
