So logging out and/or making sure the first spot in my hot bar is open both fix this issue. It is odd how it is linked to the honey glitch. But, this makes sense since I posted both issues.
I reported this under MCPE. Thank you.
I was in peaceful mode. My reference to Zombies was normal game play on higher difficulties. I like using food as weapons sometimes. Thank you for referencing MCPE-49963. I guess in the past 3 years, I have not used peaceful mode 🙂, but for testing the beta version, I did.
Though I only showed a couple pictures, I ate an entire stack of cooked chicken. If this is intended game play to introduce gluttony, then I guess we have to know. I personally like having a full saturation bar and punching zombies with food. In MCPE, if you are always hungry, the controls are such that you can't punch. Maybe I could configure the controls a bit differently, but I've used the same/default controls for at least 3 years now.
When I run deeper into the biome it does start raining. In general, I have found that this happens in 1.15 as well. I will be using Riptide and elytra while flying through the sky in the rain and all of the sudden the rain stops and seconds later starts. Generally in desert and savannah. That phenomenon now make sense.

I live in a desert IRL (actually more like the red mesa biome) where it rains during monsoon season, so I never really thought about other deserts that don't have rain. Brain fart 🙂. I guess I have also never tried to get a super charged creeper to spawn in the desert or savanah before. Now I am going to go test the red mesa biome and rain 😃.
Good to know for future game play 🙂 thank you.
My bug was linked as a duplicate. This issue happens to me when I enter the End from the Overworld as well. It temporarily is fixed using potion of night vision in affected dimension.
[media][media]This issue still occurs on MCPE for the Beta Version. Generating a Zombie Piglin with Trident Channeling and a pig results in a Zombie Piglin on fire that dies if under a tree or not exposed to rain. Zombie Piglins can, however, walk in lava without burning.
I just wanted to comment here. My post was marked as a duplicate, but I wanted to write to add history that this issue still exists. I was planning on making a large honey + sticky piston train to move bases in my survival realm. Looks like I need to find some slime in the meantime.
