Turtles will never lay eggs anywhere in the world, even by spawning them in with the /summon turtle ~ ~ ~ minecraft:go_lay_egg command, making it almost impossible to craft anything requiring a scute
How to replicate.
Step 1: find a beach or make an area for them to lay eggs
Step 2: input the above command or spawn and breed them
Step 3: watch as they don’t do anything
