When I have been speed planting crops, (clicking and holding while moving) sometimes they instantly grow from in between half way to fully grown. The full grown ones drop the same amount of item they normally drop.
So far from what I have tested, Wheat, Carrots, and Potatoes are affected but I would assume Beetroots are too.
