Not entirety sure if it's a bug but it's quite annoying, when teleporting through a large nether portal it teleports you into the corner and not the center, this gets really annoying when you try to cover up some of the portals corners with blocks and have to find your way to the center with the portal effect covering your screen

Thank you for your report! However, this issue is Working as Intended.
A block in the nether is equivalent to 8 blocks in the overworld. So when you enter a portal, the game will do the division and you'll always be placed in the closest block possible. If it happens to be in the corner, the only thing you can do is move the portal itself. That way you can create one where you'll always be teleported to the center of it.
