Friend can't join my world ever since the 1.14.60 update

My friend cannot join me on my world ever since the 1.14.60 update, every time I invite him, all it says is either localizing or locating world, i forget which one he said, but it says that the entire time and never loads him in the game, my other friend is able to join perfectly fine though, it's just him that cannot join, it is a little minigame world, full of command blocks and such that I have spent countless hours on, he also helped me with building maps that took days to build, and now I can't play with him, and he is the only person I talk to pretty much daily. Also, when he presses cancel when it says locating/localizing world, it says for me "(Friend) has left the game" but it never said in chat he joined, I'm on Windows 10 (PC), and he is on Xbox One S I believe, if not then he is on a normal Xbox One.
