Tamed wolves multiplying without breeding ?

First of all, I love dogs/ tamed wolves. I tried so hard for a week to find and tame the wolves. I finally tamed two wolves and happily headed to my home. On the way home, I left steve & dogs on the road, and back to the game 2 days after. There were 5 tamed wolves waiting for me instead of 2.
OK, fine with 5 dogs. I went home and, I left them sit in front of my house, and traveled back to one of the villages i found on the way. There was a blacksmith house that was on the fire, but i couldn't put it up because my dogs were jumping on the fire. Well, i couldn't find that village, but ended up another one. There, i suddenly heard and saw 5 tamed wolves coming toward me. They all followed me though i didn't have any bones. I thought my own wolves somehow teleported there. Well, i headed back to my home. On the way home, the numbers of dogs/ wolves became 7. When i got home, i found my own 5 dogs are waiting for me there. Now, I have 12 dogs jumping around me. What should i do with these dogs, I want only 2 , but I don't want to kill them. Ahhhhh~
