The game does not support the mouse even though it has the option to use it, it just stays on the screen and I have to keep holding and dragging to be able to move the screen

My device is a xiaomi redmi note 7 and the mouse is an optical multilaser and yes it works normally in other applications but in minecraft I have to hold the mouse button to drag the screen.

We're tracking this issue as MCPE-9815, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.
That ticket has already been resolved as working as intended, which means this is not considered a bug. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.
The mouse functionality on Android is currently set to mimic the touch controls where you have to press (click) to look. Per the developers comments on that report, requests to change the functionality would be considered feedback and can be made at https://feedback.minecraft.net.
