I had hit my dog which was tamed. Then i tried to feed it some steak. The food dissapears from my hotbar but the dog did not display any hearts at all for being fed.

This is not fixed for me. Some of my dogs can be fed as expected, but some cannot. There does not seem to be any reason why some dogs can be fed and others not.
Resolving as a duplicate of MCPE-8517, in favor of the report there.
Its fixed for build 11.
