Lag in new update.

Same here! In 1.14.6, I got lag like this. The nether seems to be smooth as butter now, but the overworld is as slow as low fat yoghurt! PLEASE MOJANG FIX THE LAG!!! I HAVE HAD IT FOR 4 MONTHS!

Same thing here, it's unplayable, closing doors takes ages, sounds are behind seconds and even accessing that little crafting menu takes extra loading. 

Hope this gets fixed soon.

Yeah this happens for Nintendo Switch, the overworld is quiet laggy (even on fresh worlds) with block placing and such, but the nether is super smooth.

Exactly! It's like half the lag has been fixed from 1.14.60, but only in the overworld does it lag! It's still SO ANNOYING

Since update 1.16.1 the lag has got worse with constant freezing and stuttering. The fps drops even more if my friend joins my world, using boats or minecarts causes stutter, block breaking and sound is completely off and lots of lag just after exiting a portal into the overworld which most of the time crashes my game.

I play on PS4 pro and never had issues before the 1.16 updates.

The game plays perfectly when in the nether.

All villagers, mobs, boats, minecarts, my friend and all my redstone builds including item sorter, super smelter and anything with pistons is causing major frame drop since 1.16 update it all worked perfectly in 1.14.

Please optimise bedrock for console it's becoming unenjoyable too play.

Seems like whenever I leave my base to explore when I come back the lag gets much worse and the lag gets worse over time too so the longer I play the worse my screen stutters and freezes which eventually crashes my game or I end up restarting the game game which reduces the lag temporarily.

Being around crops and mob spawners makes the lag worse too.

So today's hotfix 2.10 states: performance and stability improvements.

Literally nothing has changed still lagging more than ever, music getting stuck sounds like a broken record screen still stutters when turning but the nether gives me no issue at all. I just want to enjoy the game and build my creations without it causing an issue.

Definitely noticing more lag on PS4 since the Nether update, even with the recent hotfix.

Done 2 hours of testing last night, changing the game to peaceful helps a lot but lag still persists I'm guessing passive mobs could be a problem too?After removing some animals from around my base the lag got slightly better so my take on this would be the changes made to mobs in 1.16 mostly causes the lag that's all mobs not just hostile.

Not sure why this is marked as resolved because it is 100% not the lag has completely put me off the game and I feel like deleting the world I've been playing since bedrock came to ps4. I spent hours removing all redstone, chests and hoppers from my base so it was literally just a building and put the game in peaceful but the lag around my base remained so I have no clue what's causing the lag.

Right. Yeah, I hear you Wayne. I have filed a lag report that now has what, SEVENTY SIX votes, yet nothing has been fixed. For this bug, we have a few options:

1. The report is a duplicate but hasn't been filed as one

2. On most PS4's there is no lag

3. Mojang are working with the platform to keep the lag a secret?

4. The lag WILL be fixed soon.

5. The bot is broken.
