Hey Mojang, big fan of Minecraft. So I've owned Minecraft for a while and was getting excited about 1.16 update. If you go to Microsoft store, you can see I own the game, I don't own the starter collection, or master collection, I just simply own the game with nothing else coming with it. However, when I updated to 1.16 in-game, I logged on and, it says on the bottom to Unlock full game. I think this can be fixed by deleting and reinstalling Minecraft, so I think not a big deal right? Well, I actually own 60 worlds, so I click play to export the worlds to save them. However, when I click play, it does your little loading sign, I sat there for 30 mins just watching the loading sign because it did not continue to the worlds page. I don't really think this has to do with my connection issues here, because I have not had a connection issue before playing Minecraft. I can access the marketplace, skin menu, and settings just fine, but when I press play it would not load up the screen. I'm a little hesitant to delete and reinstall, because of my worlds, please tell me what to do at this point. This is the first time I've had an issue with Minecraft, so I hope there is a fix to this, Thank you! Please get back to me on this.

Hello. Btw John Pyzer thank you for the help, it's probably very useful, but I figured out something else. If anyone else was or is having the same issue as I was having, the fix I found is to just have someone invite you to their word. Once a friend of mine invited me, I accepted the invite, Minecraft then fixed the title screen glitch itself, and I was able to access the menus again. I think what happened is Minecraft read the code that the game was in 1.16, and allowed me to join. I was also able to keep my worlds, which was I plus for me because I thought it would be deleted when I was going to delete and reinstall Minecraft. Another recommendation I have is to backup all your precious worlds that you have spent time on NOW because it's better late than sorry. I know Mojang will patch this in the next update, this is my first issue, Minecraft is still a great running game, I'm just recommending it to be on the safe side. Thank you again!
Thank you for your report!

What platform are you using as on Android you can navigate to the folder containing your worlds and make a copy of them in a separate folder. Open my files navigate to internal if you have it installed on device storage or SD if you installed to external memory. Then find games in there open com.mojang and copy the minecraftworlds folder to another location such as documents. Once done reinstall and copy not cut and paste the folder back in com.mojang. if on pc look on your installation drive and find appdata folder under the users file and your pc login profile name and you will find them in the mojang/Minecraft folder do same as for Android and simply copy the saves folder to a different location. You may need to click on view and select show hidden files and folders to see the appdata folder but they are there in the roaming folder of your appdata. For Mac and iOS I can't help you.
