Crashes frequently since installing new up date, upon re-loading gets stuck at minecraft load screen indefinitely. Requires several system restarts and 5-10 minutes of wait time per "minecraft" screen for the game to eventually load. I have gotten to the menu screen, but the game freezes

So, i tried deleting and re-installing the game from the disc which did not resolve the issue. However, i then tried deleting and then purchasing/downloading the game off the PSN, which appears to have fixed the problem. like many issues, it appears throwing money at the problem resolved it
And there's no other known way around this currently?
