Some sounds don't play while other sounds are playing at the same time

So I've noticed that there's been an issue regarding some custom sounds from my resource packs. For some reason, after this nether update, there are certain sounds that won't play if there are other sounds playing at the same time. For example, I created custom sounds for zombie villagers for when they're idle (.say) and when they die (.death). Normally, I could hear both sounds just fine when I'm playing, but if I decide to put on a custom song from my resource pack, then the .death sound doesn't play when I kill a zombie villager while the song is playing. It isn't until after the song ends when I could hear the .death sound again when I kill a zombie villager. This wasn't an issue prior to the update as there would be multiple sounds playing at once without trouble. Was there something changed with how Minecraft Bedrock sound works or is this a bug? Any response helps. Thank you!
