I'm not sure if this is a worldwide thing, but here we go. Basically my friend and I downloaded the update from the Microsoft store. We then proceeded to go on the game prior to it finishing downloading. We logged on Minecraft to find that we're extremely laggy. My friend happens to own a gaming PC and so do I . We could run Minecraft smoothly before the update. This lag has prevented us from going on worlds and only lets us on servers. If there's anything you can do to fix this that would be amazing.

The lag mostly occurs on the main menu and any world we enter. Servers run smoothly so there's no problem with them.
