Nether Fortresses are too rare

this is not a bug since nether fortresses don’t generate in some biomes now they’re rarer

no they need to be more common look at the changelog

which update?I looked at the change logs of 1.16 and 1.16.1 and i couldn’t find anything regarding nether fortress generation

When I gone to the place where the old nether fortress was, it just got removed.

I am sure they made it more common but i can’t find it anywhere

I've been searching for fortresses in Creative, tunneling through rock surfaces & hugging the lava. Ever since bastions were introduced, they've been much harder to find, whereas bastions are plentiful. 

When they can be found, the distance them is more substancial with each update. They were easiest to find before the basalt biomes were introduced, though I currently find them hugging basalt more often than not.
