The Arrow Bounce Off The Shield And I Got The Slowness Effect Without The Arrow Hitting Me.
The Shulker Bullet Hit The Shield And Didn’t Harm Me And I Still Got The Effect

Stray
1. Equip The Shield To You
2. Spawn A Stray
3. Crouch Down And The Shield Will Start Protecting
4. Get Close To The Stray And Face Toward The Stray. The Stray Will Shout The Arrow Of Slowness At You
And You Should Get The Effect Of Slowness
Also The Same Thing Happens With All Arrows With Effects
Shulker
1. Equip The Shield To You
2. Spawn A Shulker
3. Crouch Down And The Shield Will Start Protecting
4. Get Close To The Shulker And Face Toward The Shulker. The Shulker Will Shout The Bullet At You
5. The Shield Protects You And Doesn't Harm You And You Still Get The Effect
