Character Creator Items Disappear

When the Earth Day items were released, my two friends and I put the Earth Day Jacket on. A week or two later, one of my friends and I realized the Earth Day Jacket had dissapeared for us in the character creator. We were still wearing it, but could not see it in the character creator. This did not happen to my other friend, but we later found out it happened to the brother of my friend that lost the items as well. When new items were released my friend who lost the earth day jacket couldn't even access them. My other friend still kept all of their items. For me, the first time new items were released (which included the cluck shirt and muddy mud) I was able to access them, but a few days later the same thing happened, and I lost them. The only other things that my friend and I who lost stuff could access, were the Achievement items, and the Mohawk hair. Recently, my friend who had all the items, would lose them for a day, and then they would come back for a few days. Now, they haven't been able to access them for almost a week.
