I've been working with a ton of villagers in my base, and based off of intended mechanics, they should still be librarians since they have no bed and can't switch jobs, but for some reason they have different textures? I think it may have something to do with the fact that they gained the job while I was at least 3 chunks away? I have no clue how to recreate this, but I hope that helps you figure it out.
