I recently bought a physical copy of Minecraft for the Playstation 4. Since updating to the most recent patch on the Playstation 4 (2.09) and playing once, I am unable to start the game. It seems to be stuck on the Mojang Studios logo indefinitely. I was able to play the game fine before I updated to version 2.09.
I am using a PlayStation 4 Pro (Model # CUH-7215B) in Boost Mode on System Software 7.51.
UPDATE 7/8/2020 8:39 CST: My game has gotten past the logo and now works since going to Notifications and selecting the installed update notification.

I have also experienced this bug. I'm using the PS4 slim (CUH-2215B) I tried launching the game from the notification bar but nothing happened. I have also went into safe mode and rebuilt the database but still no fix.

I was able to get the game to work by loading it up normally, pressing the PS button, going into notifications and selecting the update installed notification. I'm not sure if it was just a fluke or not but I figured it should be noted.

This happens to me too! I play on a standard PS4, I was playing for a couple of hours then I close the application and turn off my PS4. Later that evening the game would be stuck on the Mojang Studios screen forever. I let it sit for like 2 hours and nothing happened. I hope this will soon be patched.
