Iron golem animation freezes when unable to reach target

Steps to reproduce

  1. Spawn a slime in a 1 x 2 x 1 hole.

  2. Spawn an iron golem.

Expected result

The iron golem circles the hole or walks back and forth as if trying to get to the slime.

Actual result

The iron golem animation freezes.

disdeda beta version 1.16 the running animation and golem attack freeze, getting frozen if you don't reach your target

Can confirm in 1.18.2 on iOS.

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.

Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now.
