Despite the patch that released on PS4 recently that claimed to fix this bug, I still got stuck on the Mojang loading screen. And yes, my Minecraft is completely up to date and has downloaded that patch already.
I had turned my PS4 off for about 10 minutes to do something, then when I came back I had launched Minecraft, only to be stuck on that cursed screen. I waited for about 10 minutes with no indication of moving past this screen. I tried restarting Minecraft and my PS4 to no avail. My next step is to delete the application and reinstall it and pray none of my worlds will be deleted along with it, which usually is what fixes this bug. Until it happens again.
To reproduce this bug, I don't know what specifically happened. Maybe when I first went to turn off my PS4, I turned it off via the PS4 quick menu while still in the Minecraft main menu, instead of closing the Minecraft application, then turning off the PS4, which resulted in the bug happening the next time I loaded the game? That sounds a little confusing, but I honestly don't know how else to phrase it. I'm sorry I don't remember exactly what happened, but that's my best guess.
