I have not been able to use the minecraft bedrock realms at all that means, not being able to join the world, not being able to replace the realm world it gets stuck in the initializing process or not being able to change any of the world settings or change the name or description

You might also try to deactivate any VPN in use, and check your firewall settings. If your device supports mobile data, try switching to wifi. If possible, try using a different wifi network.
