I can't join my friends in their worlds

If you are playing on a beta version of minecraft, (ex. a version not released to the public yet), and your friends do not have the beta version of minecraft installed, you will not be able to join them since you are on beta. Maybe if you uninstall minecraft and redownload the active version available, you can play with your friends. Also, try updating your game aswell.

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.
