Replacing the offhand slot of a zombie villager with a totem of undying and simultaneously affecting the zombie villager with Resistance causes a totem to appear in your head when you look north. I don't know if the same happens with normal zombies. To reproduce:
Create a world in Creative mode.
Open your world, get a repeating command block, place it and type
/replaceitem entity @e[type=zombie_villager] slot.weapon.offhand 0 totemPlace another repeating command block and type
/effect @e[type=zombie_villager] resistancePower the command block.
Place a zombie villager and
Look north.
