When I make a Nether Portal and click with Flint and Steel, It just sets the obsidian on fire

Works As Intended. The Nether is not yet functional in the current release.
I recommend checking the Minecraft Wiki prior to reporting an issue on the bugtracker, as what seems to be a bug to you may actually be intended.
