When I was in my survival world I went to break some dirt but realized that i was using my sword so i switched to my hand (because i didn't have a shovel) but i noticed that i was breaking the dirt slower with my hand. So i went to my creative world and placed a few lines of different blocks blocks (i used dirt, stone, packed ice, glass, crafting tables, and warped fences.) and timed it and found that i broke all the blocks faster with the sword than my hand.
I know that blocks like cobwebs and leaves are broken faster with a sword than with hand but i expected that the sword would break other blocks at the same speed as with my hand
But when I tested the sword broke the blocks faster than my hand did

I can reproduce in1.19.20. Blocks appear to break about 1.5x as fast with a sword as compared to the bare hand, and custom blocks are affected too.
This is probably an exclusive feature for bedrock edition rather than bug, because it's in game at least since 0.14.0 and kinda makes sense,
ok Mojang, you hv done it this time, this was my fav bug, atleast addressed as a bug, but it just seems like a normal feature to me... it makes a lot of sense tho
UNDO IT NOW πβ
Can confirm, however it seems to be a parity request (MC-17640), or it could be considered a bug anyway.
