My nether portals won’t link. I have tried everything. This must be a bug. Btw this world was transferred from console edition so I don’t know if that plays a factor into why it’s not working. However, another’s portal linked correctly. My guess is the issue may tak place the farther away from spawn the portal is

Hmm. Ok I will try that. But even if it was 6 to 1 they should’ve changed it to 8 to 1. Thank you, I appreciate it
This comment is for the developers. In order to recreate this issue transfer a world from console to bedrock and try and see if the portal linking works.
You were tight. So the answer to this problem is that converted worlds from console edition have a one to 6 ratio of blocks

Might be wrong here, but originally when Bedrock came to Switch worlds converted from console edition kept their overworld/nether ratio of 6 to 1 (rather then standard 8 to 1). I think it was done to keep existing portals working. Maybe it is still the case, since the world here is transferred from console edition.
