Since the 1.16.20 update, the Nintendo Switch freezes completely when I try to close Minecraft after playing, or when I go to the Switch Home screen while playing Minecraft and try to open another application, such as another software title, the Screenshot Gallery or system settings.
I mean a complete system freeze. The only thing that seems to work when that happens, is press and hold the On/Off button on the console for 10 seconds, causing the Switch to turn off.
Since the 1.16.20 update, the game also has a tendency to temporarily freeze at seemingly random moments during gameplay, usually for around 10 - 30 seconds, after which it continues as if nothing happened.
I've asked friends who also play Minecraft on Nintendo Switch, they all confirm these issues since the 1.16.20 update.
