Fortune Enchant works on Iron and Gold Ores.

WHAT ITEMS YOU NEED TO REPRODUCE:
Gold/Iron Ore
Pickaxe that is enchanted with fortune

HOW TO REPRODUCE:
1. Place down ore
2. Break with pickaxe (Repeat if desired)

So, what you're essentially saying is that you are getting multiple ore blocks by mining Iron and Gold ores with a Fortune pickaxe?

yes.

yeah you can duplicate yourself crazy amount of ores.

That is what Fortune enchanting does, it gives you multiple ores if you mine only 1 ore.

The ore blocks themselves shouldn't be affected by Fortune.

Yeah, you are right, so you can get infinite ores.

Hello everyone, this has been resolved in the latest [as of 18:18, GMT+8:00, AUGUST 5] build (build 6).

Fixed in build 6, check changelog:
-"Fixed base ores (iron, gold) dropping multiple times when using fortune pickaxes"
