I kicked a player (who was playing on an iPad, I am on Windows 10) from my Xbox Live multiplayer game and then told them to rejoin.
They tried to join but would get removed when they did so.
I have tried reloading the world and we have both closed our clients.
All to no avail.
Please help.

My kids are experiencing this problem now all on a local game on a single xbox. After kicking a user, that user cannot join ANY game started by the other player. We've tried multiple different worlds and also closed and reopened the game, and nothing works.
In Cliff's situation, one of the two players had inadvertently done an Xbox block on the other player, which prevented them playing together. If you're in this situation, please use the Xbox app to ensure that one of the players isn't blocking the other. There's a report that the Xbox block was induced by the kick command, but I haven't been able to reproduce it.

I don’t see how this is intentional. A kick is a temporary disconnect.
A ban is permanent, but can be reversed with a pardon.
If this truly is the way it is meant to function, may you please help me reverse the action.
Also, the only reason I made a new ticket was because I believed that it was a bug and not “intended behaviour” as marked on the original post.
