So whenever i go into a minecart, it works fine. Going over regular rails works fine. but going over Redstone rails kicks me out of the minecart immediately and wont let me go across the rail

That ticket has already been resolved as working as intended, which means this is not considered a bug and won't be fixed. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.
If you want to propel minecarts, you must use powered rails (the golden ones), not activator rails.
