When ย I place a torch at the side of a chunk and come back near that chunk later, the torch only gives light in the chunk it is in, this happened on servers and worlds,
when I replace that torch itโs fixed but itโs kinda annoying

Duplicate of MCPE-69037 or MCPE-58182. Please search in the future if you haven't already.
Can't speak for the person who reported this of course, but for me: yes, at least a couple of times. Can't remember if this was the case in every instance it happened though.

Same issue on PC. Been happening since before the recent updates - for me at least. Like OP said, destroying and replacing the torch makes the area light up properly again. It happens only very occasionally for me though, but it does happen in every world.
