Hi mojang recently i found a bug about soul lanters and soul torches that can't melt ice

However, this issue is Working as Intended.
Soul lanterns and soul torches are not bright enough to melt ice and snow. This is by design..

soul torches and soul lanterns emit a light level of 10 while ice requires a light level of 11 (12?) so they cannot melt ice
