When I play Minecraft, after a short period of time, it freezes. My screen stays showing the frame I froze on unless I restart my console or press the home button. From time to time, it freezes my entire console so that I have to do a full restart.

Don't sign in to your microsoft account and you should be able to play without it crashing. Obviously that means you can't get achievements/play online/etc, but obviously if those aren't things that'll bother you than this might be a good fix until they can work on it.
