In any world with either parent or child sub-account, Minecraft flashes a red screen and closes within 6 seconds of the world loading. The program will sit open on the menu/settings pages all day, but as soon as a world is loaded, it crashes. All media drivers are up to date. No mods active. Tried troubleshooting from other crashing tip pages with no luck. Minecraft just purchased and downloaded on Aug 4, 2020.

There might have been some kind of problem when you installed the game, or it might be a problem with how your Xbox Live account is set up. If you haven't already, you might want to check your Xbox Live privacy settings, contact Xbox Support for help, and if that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall the game from the store (in the account that's having the problem).
Uninstalling will delete the folder where your saved worlds are stored, so you might want to ensure you have copies of any you want to restore after reinstalling. But I'm not clear on how you could have any worlds saved anyway, since you said you just purchased Minecraft. Were these worlds you created? If so, there's probably nothing you want to save in them. But if you imported them from some other account, this crash could be happening because of that. Although I'm closing this report as invalid, I'll monitor it in case you have questions.
