Player arms strech out as if they were using a bow after killed

I was in a multiplayer world with my sister, so I went to go collect resources and build. I went in a cave, then I died, and my arms were out, like I was using an invisible bow. It has happened to me multiple times, and it seems to only happen on multiplayer worlds.
