So recently my Minecraft game update and I loaded my survival world but once I loaded in, I was in creative. I tried turning it back to survival and thought maybe it was bug but I'm not able to. I know my world is still a survival world because before I load it up it stays survival under my world name. The default setting is set to survival as well. The only way I can switch it is by turning on cheats but that would just turn my whole world into a creative world and I wouldn't want that nor is this fair to happen to me. Down below I'll show a picture before I load my world and after I load my world to prove I'm in creative, yes it is the exact same world. In the first photo I show my world that I'm loading then second and third phot I show the bug that I am having.

Did you have cheats on? As long as it says that your personal game mode is in creative, changing the default game mode will do nothing. If you want your game mode to change, then you have to enable cheats and revert your personal game mode back to ¨default¨.
No I don’t have chance on. That’s the problem I don’t wanna turn cheats in because I’ve never turned them on from the start.
