When I try to chat w/ someone on someone else's world, the game freezes for 3 seconds to 1 minute or (not very often) it crashes, and sometimes when I get kicked or I get disconnected from the world, my switch crashes, the switch is also still freezing and crashing when I try to close Minecraft, so please fix this and thanks.

Yea, it's been pretty hard to play the game since 1.16.20. 😞

This has nothing to do with that report, it doesn't mention any problem with the chat features, this is also not resolved or a duplicate, this is a report about a bug in the chat feature and the kick/disconnected screen that causes crashing and freezing alone, so please change this back to unresolved, as it is it's own problem, thank you.
It sounds like it may be caused by the absolutely terrible autosaving in the game. It brings everything to a crawl and even to an unplayable state. But it is just my speculation.
