The bug
When searching the creative menu, items are supposed to be filtered by all text in their tooltip. This already works for several things:
✔ Enchanted book enchantments
✔ Potion effects
However, it fails to work for the following things:
❌ Attributes (such as netherite's "knockback resistance", or weapon "attack damage")
❌ Music disc descriptions (such as "C418 - cat")
❌ Banner patterns (such as "creeper charge")
❌ Firework descriptions (such as "flight duration", or "small ball")
How to reproduce
1. Search "knockback"
→ ✔ You get results for knockback enchanted books, ❌ but not netherite armor

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
