My iPad is NOT on do not disturb, silent mode is off, the music volume in game is at 100 and my iPad volume is fully up and no in game music plays, not even in the start up menus. Funny enough though, the sound affects still play but no music at all.

Karla this is not a help forum and this is most unlikely a bug,
imo,
1. MCPE doesn't come with music pre-installed,
2. Add music to MCPE - Go to the game marketplace
3. Search - "music" .There should be a Free download there by Minecraft .
4. Download it (around 175mb), it should automatically install.
5. Music should play.
Please don't report issues here that are not bugs.
