Book & Quill Page 10 not saving progress

Doesn't seem to be an issue in single player, nor a dedicated server. I cannot speak for realms (which the reporter addresses) as I have none.

In my testing, Realms appears to clear the contents within a page of a writeable book when it contains vulgar language and this is a result of the newly introduced Realms profanity filter. May I ask whether or not the page that this issue is affecting contains vulgar language (swear words, discriminative terms, etc...)?

I turned off the profanity filter and although the page had no profanity written in it, it seems to have resolved the issue.

Perhaps you should post the text here, so it can be investigated why it triggered, when (you think) it shouldn't.

I am keeping a death log for our realm. The text is as follows:

"Day 6 (cont.)

Val: Creeper while exploring

Val: Iron Golem

Tian: Fell in lava (x2)

Tian: Strays let out of Stray farm"

This report should probably be moved by a moderator to the REALMS project, as I believe that profanity filtering is handled in Realms' custom server software, and not the Minecraft client.

I have the same very issues on my realm too.

I was having an issue with the Book and Quill not working, we realized that it was because we re-opened it before it saved to the server. If you re-open the Book and Quill before the hand animation plays, the text will not save.
