Beginning two days ago, concurrent with the 1.19.30 update, minecraft has been severely lagging.

the Realm i'm in has also suddenly started doing this as well.. after the 1.19.30 update. I can't pinpoint it to any issue in particular. But chunks don't load. When i go through a nether portal, the very chunk i'm standing in (once i switch to nether/overworld) will sometimes be unloaded, but the chunks around the immediate area will load.
When the chunk doesn't load, i'm unable to move (only spin around), i look like i'm floating in the air, and can x-ray through blocks to the world around me, after 5-10 seconds the immediate chunk will load and then i can see the room i'm in.
I've also had weird issues with lighting, like areas will look like they are in shadows but aren't. placing/removing torches a few times seems to update some of the blocks, but not all of them.
While flying around i keep seeing unloaded chunks (way more frequently then is normal)... no idea what happened other than 1.19.30 came out.
The issue with chunks not loading is tracked as MCPE-162424.
