Whenever I join my Realm, my account will proceed to disconnect from my Microsoft login after a couple of minutes. If I pull up the menu to go to settings on the top right corner it says "Oops! Looks like you have been disconnected from Microsoft" and "Failed to retrieve realm settings" when I try to enter the settings.
This disconnection prevents me from being able to change any settings for the world and my personal self when I am within the realm.
A short term fix is closing the application and restarting the game. But this only lets me join back to the realm for a short period of time. I have uninstalled Minecraft and redownloaded it and this does not fix the issue.
So my bug report that was reported substantially before other reports is getting slated as a duplicate to a report that has substantially less information on it and was just created 4 days ago. Crazy

How could any other software be affected when minecraft is the only microsoft game where you have to be connected to microsoft on a whole different gaming platform. Im on PS5
I'm having this issue as well. It started about a week ago. Even if I just press "Play" and sit at the world selection menu, eventually the connection to realms will be lost.
I'm pretty sure this is due to them removing the PlayStation servers from Xboxes. PlayStation is getting their own servers to run off of. I imagine this migration is causing connection issues.
Yeah, that happens occasionally too. Usually when I try to open settings, the "failed to retrieve realm information" message just starts flashing until I press circle. My only options at this point are to
Keep playing with current settings
Save and quit (although I then get the "unable to connect to realms" error at world select)
Β Restart the entire game, which fixes everything... for about 2 minutes. Then the whole process repeats.Β
It's driving me crazy.
I'm having the exact same problem. After a couple of minutes on my realm I am no longer able to adjust any of the settings. Restarting the game fixes the problem for a couple of minutes before it happens again.Β

Hi
Does this issue occur only when playing Minecraft? No other software is affected?
